I mean I really, really love food. Cooking food. Eating food.

Not just because it is delicious. I love food because of the way it affects people.  I love the way it brings people, even total strangers, together.  The joy, warmth and the magical nostalgia food can bring.  That's what I love the most. Love People. Cook them good food.  That's my motto.

 

It's no wonder that my very first job was in the food industry. For years I made cake and candy creations for family and friends. During college I worked as a cake decorator for a very large retail company then went on to work for a smaller, family owned bakery which was very rewarding. Although  I ultimately chose to pursue a career in graphic design, I somehow have always been pulled back to it.  Especially sweets. So I had to pursue that too.
